Laser Scribing Technology for CRGO Steel

    Laser scribing, also known as magnetic domain refinement technology, is applied to finished grain oriented electrical steel with an insulating coating. The laser irradiates the steel surface in dots or lines, refining magnetic domains within a 20µm subsurface layer. This process reduces core loss and improves the performance of CRGO steel for transformer core laminations.

20-High Rolling Mill

The 20-high rolling mill processes grain oriented electrical steel with strict thickness control. For standard CRGO steel, it performs two cold rolling passes: reducing the 2.3mm pickled coil to 0.63mm, then to a final thickness of 0.262±0.005mm after decarburization annealing. For high-grade Hi-B steel, it completes one-pass rolling in 6 passes, directly reducing 2.3mm material to 0.257±0.005mm or 0.22±0.005mm. This high-precision process ensures consistent flatness and dimensional accuracy for high-performance transformer core laminations.
